I really like this vision. I just have two things to add:

- The main content, which would also be a tile - great. But let's not
forget that one basic principle of Plone and Zope is the hierarchical
content tree. So the main content tile is that content, the current URL
points to (if it's not just a simple route to a view). True?

- That's just a pointer to something we can easily integrate with tile
based layouts: The masonry and isotope JavaScript libraries.

I'd love to be at the sprint too, but time-wise that's impossible for me
right now...
