I have not completely thought this through, but I wonder if it would be
sensible to add support for source maps support to some future Plone 5
version? Maybe enabling when in debug mode, and outputting X-SourceMap
header on JS resources.  Goal would be that opting into debugging and
downloading uncooked source assets would be a choice made in the browser,
not server-side?
