No it's not a solution, there is some problems...

1. If you want to create an event just for your group, you have to create an
event of type MyGroupOnlyEvent, because object's workflow don't care about
their folder privacy...

2. If there is more than one user which is owner of a Plone folder you will
get hard problem because anyone can delete objetcs of each others and two
or more owner can edit a same document at the same time...
