Introduction

Hello,

My name is Turgut Uyar and I am a lecturer at the Istanbul Technical 
University, Computer Engineering Department. I am also one of the 
co-webmasters of the department's site where we have been using 
Zope/Plone for several months now (http://www.ce.itu.edu.tr/). At the 
moment it is only in Turkish, I'm really looking forward for the 
I18NLayer project (or something similar) to come up with an easy way to 
do i18n also for the content.

I've been planning to create some new content types (administrative and 
educational) for our site and hopefully I'll work on it this summer. It 
would surely be much nicer to coordinate such efforts.

Our main problem nowadays is that our university is applying for 
accreditation (ABET) and we have to prepare lots of documentation (fill 
out lots of forms). We also have to get feedback from our students, 
alumni and the industry in the form of surveys. I'm hoping to integrate 
all this work into the website. Maybe this procedure could contribute 
useful ideas to the project.
