Hey Martin, Here is quick tip to install plone on your Hostgator account. On windows platform <http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/file/n7561273/first-step.gif> Go to plone.org ---- Visit the Download & Extend section and run the installer available on the download page of plone.org Now as you run the installer all the files will get stored in your windows directory i.e. C:\Program Files\Plone directory <http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/file/n7561273/Second-step.gif> The step 2 is running. First Click your windows start button, then select run, then type in "cmd" for command and hit enter. As you hit enter you will see a comlete new window will pop up in front of you. Now all you have to do is type ‘cd “C:\Program Files\Plone\”’ . At this point you will be prompted to run Plone services in production or debug mode. <http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/file/n7561273/Third-step.gif> Lastly visit Plone.org and follow the documentary and guide available there to run plone services in both production mode as well as debug mode.
