I've got the recommendation to put it into locales/de/LC_MESSAGES. And therefore I said it's not working. Now I found following link http://maurits.vanrees.org/weblog/archive/2007/09/i18n-locales-and-plone-3.0 where it is pointed out, to use the old i18n instead of locales for overwriting plone domain translations unless you've got Plone 3.5 Well, that's a solution.
