I do not think that files are necessarily neutral content. It can work like that, but it makes the experience of using LinguaPlone to translate a site kinda erratic? If there is a section of resources which contains pdf's, I would like to be able to translate them to the other language and upload the pdf's in that language. LinguaPlone allows me to translate the 'container of the file' - Title and Description - but I am stuck with the original language pdf? It detracts from an otherwise logical, good translation experience. I think the product will be more consistent an experience if one can do a file translation as I suggest. In fact, I only asked the question here, because I thought maybe there is a bug preventing me from replacing the file, or because I am doing something wrong ... :) Anyway - I will find out more about the LinguaPlone project and where one can discuss usability issues and ways to contribute - I need to do some more homework on this!
