Hello all good and knowledgeable people!

I need an advise in planning a specific multilingual setup for a portal. See
what you can propose, please!

I am quite new to plone, but learning by doing a project.

I started volunteering on creating a site for a non-profit and need to
design a
multilingual, interactive and publishing web portal.
If talking about internationalization ,LinguaPlone e.t.c., - What would be
the best strategy for a portal development plan if:
I want to make sure that :
A few (at this time only!) writers who are either German ,Russian, Hebrew
or English speakers (at this time only!) , could contribute their writings
to the portal in THEIR NATIVE LANGUAGE and those writings to become
immediately available (after approval) - in the other three primary
languages for now (and may be more later), with the option of manually
fine- tuning the translation .

I might be wrong but it seems to me that it's a problem for LinguaPlone
since the source is going to be multilingual, so using a canonical site for
the translations in this case seems to me limited to only one editor
language for all the translations. Isn't it?
Or maybe to make a separate ( a canonical) site in every language and when
someone publishes his article in that site of his language, that article
((in addition to being translated to let's say to some other languages than
these four )) will be translated and will be put somehow into an existing
canonical - original sites of the other three languages at the right
mirrored place.
But how to accomplish that kind of interoperability? It doesn't look to
me that using LiguaPlone or other addons would be enough?? Or it seems
to me that plain separate sites would be the only way to create that kind of
multilingual editing ability for the portal?.

And I want to link a separate domain to each language site.

P.S
If that kind of ability doesn't exist or requires some serious programming
work then I think it would be an awesome thing to add it to Plone CMS!

Regards ,
Michael P.
