Hi all,
 The Plone Conference 2014 in Bristol, UK is now less than two weeks away! Whether you are new to Plone, a core developer, integrator, front-end designer, or user; the annual Plone Conference is the opportunity to learn from others and take away new skills, ideas and contacts.

Full details about the conference, tickets, travel and accommodation is at:
http://2014.ploneconf.org/

Tickets
======

Tickets are available to purchase at:

http://2014.ploneconf.org/tickets

The dates for the conference week are:
Training: 27th - 28th October
Conference: 29th - 31st October
Sprint: 1st - 2nd November

Training
======

We have three great training sessions this year, two from the ‘Mastering Plone’ syllabus (a beginner and and advanced course) and Mockup Training for developers. All three of these are two-day courses and at the amazing price of just £150 for two days.

This is one of the best opportunities all year to get up to speed on Plone development practises, so please take advantage of it.

Spaces are still available, and tickets can be booked on the conference website (you need to book them separate to your conference ticket):

Talks
====

There will be 3 parallel rooms of scheduled talks over two days with a total of 42 talks including development talks, case studies and community talks. The third day will be an Open Space day with sessions proposed by attendees in 'unconference' style. The perfect opportunity for large group discussions, or expanding on topics from the previous two days.

There will be a keynote from Eric Steele, Plone Release Manager, all about the upcoming release of Plone 5. Our guest keynote is Michael Johnson founder of Pocketspacecraft. Michael is a physicist on a mission to kick start the personal space age by giving everyone the opportunity to own their own spacecraft. In this keynote Michael will show how you can be part of this amazing revolution and send your personal spacecraft to explore the solar system for the price of a video game.

Dinner / Party
===========

As well as training and an exciting line up of talks, the conference party has also been organised in a newly renovated micro-brewery 10 minutes walking distance from the conference venue. There will be a large selection of locally brewed ales and larger on offer as well as delicious home cooked food, and if that isn't enough there will also be a local Jazz band offering an evening of entertainment exclusively for conference attendees.

We look forward to seeing you all in Bristol!

Matt and the Plone Conference 2014 team
