Please stop making accusations. They are not helpful.

Suggestions on how to improve things ARE helpful. You may have to reach out a few times to get your message to the volunteers doing this work.

There is one person... ONE... who has been our communications team the last 2+ years, who has been doing the work on a volunteer basis.

As a result of one of the discussions in Sorrento, we came up with ideas on how to continue to improve communicating development and other activity to the community at large, and we will be implementing them.

If you'd like to make your suggestions directly to the teams responsible (again remembering that they are volunteers), eg marketing and communications or the board, that would be better received. Help is always appreciated! https://plone.org/community/teams

One of the longer running discussions has been about whether to pay for some services (such as marketing & communications), but for that the Foundation would need a lot more money. At the moment there are several premium, regular, and personal sponsors, but a lot fewer that you'd expect for a project and community of this size.

If you can't volunteer your time, then please donate to the Foundation so we can better support the effort: https://plone.org/donate
