Open submission of plone community events?

Hi,

There isn't any instructions on how to get something listed on http://plone.org/events/community
I'm trying to get a sprint event up for a sprint thats happening this friday-sat.
http://www.coactivate.org/projects/fishchips-sprint-2014/project-home

Why not allow contributor access to all members of plone.org and control it using reviewers and a content rule?
Make it a lot more user friendly.
