Hook in publicatio workflow?

Dear developers

We'd like to modify the publication workflow: The aim is to notify the
server to flush the cache after publication for that the new content is
visible for the public immediately. Therefore, we'd like to have a hook
where we could attach such functionality somewhere in
Silva/views/edit/VersionedContent/tab_status_approve.py or
Silva/Versioning/approve_version() without patching the Silva code.

Is such a hook available already?
