OS X is fine, because X == 10 in latin. Most people get that.

Windows 98 ME XP whatever is extremely confusing ... (but Microsoft 
spends millions of dollars to make sure people understand)

Yes, but not if the new name only adds more confusion, and that's what 
ZCS would do.

I am not a techie, I have a major in Marketing and sell software. So at 
least I am not completely biased towards the techie view of things.
