NextWorkspace vs. NextWindow,

NextWorkspace does not work analogous to NextWindow, but I think it should.
Anyone have a solution?

Here's what I have in my keys file:
Mod1 Tab :NextWindow
Control Tab :NextWorkspace

NextWindow focuses to the last focused window.
NextWorkspace focuses on the next consecutive workspace, rather than
the last active workspace.

I would like to be able to quickly switch between my last workspace
and my current workspace, similar to switching between two recently
focused windows (using the same key binding!).
