don't know if I understood well your question but on FB keys(Probably
not FBKeys just Xorg/Xfree the winlogo key is called Mod4, AFAIK)

I do have some bindings like this with the windows keys.
None Menu:ExecCommand aterm ...blah... -e top
Mod4 Menu :RootMenu
Mod4 Tab :WorkspaceMenu
Mod4 w :WindowMenu

Even chains...

Mod4 x Mod4 x :Quit
Mod4 x Mod4 r :Restart

For other keys,

  $xev

should be used and a ~/.Xmodmap(if just for you)
can be used to keep that simple.
Ex:
keycode 144 = XF86AudioPrev
keycode 162 = XF86AudioPlay
keycode 164 = XF86AudioStop

Then you can use the same names over keys and have everything under FB
keygrabber.

AFAIK those keys can be used in chains and modded with Mod1, Mod4 and
Control.

GL, Hope I understood your question...
