hmm, i have a feeling you didn't quite understand my problem. what i'd
like to have is:

None Mod4 :RootMenu or None Super_L :RootMenu
Mod4 Control Mod1 i :exec xmms
Mod4 Control Mod1 u :exec beep-media-player -t
.
.
the reason i am using those sequences is that my special keys generate
them. i doubt xmodmap would be of any help.

hope i made it clear this time. if not please do let me know.
