Well, this isn't really a fluxbox issue, but a Debian one: just edit (or 
create) your ~/.xsession file like this:

exec gkrellm -w
exec fluxbox

and the startx command will automatically launch gkrellm and fluxbox

There is fluxbox doc on www.luxbox.org, and Debian material, expecially the 
Debian Reference Guide on the installation CDs.
