re: general transparency issues (was: transparent menus)

I have the same problem with FB, I just didn't know how to explain it very
well in order to find a fix!
I have FB set up to change my wallpaper once an hour and when that happens,
aterm's "transparency" is messed up and sometimes the submenus are showing
the old wallpaper setting.

Is there a "best" background setting utility that makes sure that these
problems are taken care of?  I understand that the aterm may not be fixable,
but the submenus transparency problem is quite annoying.
