background.pixmap problem

I've never managed to get the background.pixmap command to work in styles.

I've just compiled 1.0rc2 and problem persists. The commands I'm using are:

 background: centered
 background.pixmap:  /home/dave/.fluxbox/backgrounds/5lackBlack.png

Any idea what the problem is?
