You can add startup commands to ~/.fluxbox/apps like so

[startup]                            {gkrellm -s seagoon -w}
[startup]                            {korgac}
[startup]                            {wmbiff}

and you can add key bindings to ~/.fluxbox/keys. fbrun gives you a run command
box. This is all in 'man fluxbox'
Mod4 R :ExecCommand fbrun
Mod4 W :ExecCommand firefox
