Recommended system-tray email notifiers?

Folks, I'm using FB 1.0rc2 and wonder if there is a system-tray email notifier folks use with evolution and evolution-brutus. I'm working with mail-notification at the moment because it will read the MS exchange server at the office as well as my local var/mail/user folder. When I first log in to FB, mail-notification appears in the system tray. But after the first email download, it fails to reappear, even though new mail is pending in var/mail or on the office's server. Gnome system monitor shows it as "sleeping." So how to I awaken it without shutting it down and restarting it each time? With best regards, Pete -- Peter N.
