I use fluxbox (0.9.x) for some years now and have always been able to
change to the last-focused window with the following line.

If this is how it is supposed to work, is there a way to change the
behaviour to the above (my preferred) one?

Ok, sorry for the confusion then.

I attach my keys file and I doublechecked it is the correct one.


I'll describe the problem again, in order to rule out
misunderstandings. I have these to lines in my keys file:

  Mod1 F1 :NextWindow
  Mod4 Tab :NextWindow

If I use Fluxbox 1.0rc2-gentoo-r2, the two keystrokes do different
things! Asume I have 4 Windows open (on one workspace). Window A has
the focus, window B has had it before. If I press "Mod1 F1" and
release, window B gets the focus. I press "Mod1 F1" again and window A
gets the focus back. That is, I can change between windows A and B
multiple times without cycling through C or D.

However, if I press "Mod4 Tab" after focus is on window B, I will not
be brought back to A but to C.

If I boot an older system with Fluxbox 0.9.14-gentoo-r1 installed, but
the same /home mounted, i.e. the same ~/.fluxbox/keys file, both
keystrokes will do the same (the "Mod1 F1" behaviour). My
interpretation is, that the problem is not my fluxbox configuration. I
555-chmoded my ~/.fluxbox/ directory to be sure, the two fluxbox
versions are not changing any settings.

Any idea?
