My fault not examining xev more carefully. When I press the thumb button, the ButtonPress event is issued, and while still holding it, if I move the mouse, it give an MotionNotify immediatelly followed by a ButtonRelease! So, Fluxbox is not to blame. But who is? The mouse hardware (Logitech LX700)? The X mouse driver (x.org 7.2)? Other?
