Starting Apps in a Workspace

When I'm using fluxbox, I tend to start applications and then switch to a different workspace to do something else while they load. The application then opens itself in my current workspace, not the one I opened it in. The problem is especially annoying with somewhat long to load programs such as Azureus and Open Office.
