cant start fluxbox on latest mandriva

something kinda starts but no decorations, only startup programs and 
this message

Make sure you don't have another window manager running.


the worst thing is that there is no other WM/DM running. I've logged out 
  of gnome and selected fluxbox session. Same happens right after restart.

Any suggestions are appreciated
