Gimp in full screen mode won't restore

Does anyone else have this problem? In Gimp I can make an Imave window go full screen by pressing F11, and supposedly F11 again should restore the window, but this doesnt. I can Alt+drag the window and resize it that way, but even toggledecor won't bring the window decoratio nback to normal.
