Fluxbox doesn't, and that's one of the reasons that I have a WM with a 1MB footprint. ;} @Rainer: using udev rules I have created mountpoints for a whole host of devices based on their serial; they always end up on the same mountpoint, and using a scripted approach to make use of them is totally safe.
