there is no issue of fluxbox with any screenshot-taking application,
fluxbox interacts in no way with the screenshot-taking application.

use

   $> scrot -s /tm/shot.png

and select the rectangle or the window on the screen. done. (all the
fancy scripts are just that: fancy scripts around the core issue: take
the screenshot and give it a name.)
