Tiling

I had some issues with auto-grouping, which did not get resolved,
and when I researched the archives, I found more threads about the
same issues. The problem with open-source free software projects is
that sometimes the developer has just got to take time out to make
some money, so it goes ...

On another note, I notices some comments about tiling and i3. I've
installed i3 as well, and probably would have some use for it.

However, I did find a nice little recipe for fluxbox which goes as
follows (and thus far eliminates the need for i3)

# Tiling With Half-Screen
Mod4 Mod1 T :MacroCmd {ResizeTo 100% 50%} {MoveTo 00 00 Up}
Mod4 Mod1 B :MacroCmd {ResizeTo 100% 50%} {MoveTo 00 00 Bottom}
Mod4 Mod1 L :MacroCmd {ResizeTo 50% 100%} {MoveTo 00 00 Left}
Mod4 Mod1 R :MacroCmd {ResizeTo 50% 100%} {MoveTo 00 00 Right}

so if anyone is interested ... I should have given attribution to
the original coder, but neglected to record it. So sorry, because I
do find those macros quite useful.
