  Thanks for those tips, Dave. The only application of auto-grouping
  I used was for libreoffice. And it was that easy ... as in
[group]  (workspace=[current])
  [app] (name=libreoffice)
[end]
That particular recipe stopped working when I upgraded libreoffice
to 5, and before I upgraded fluxbox from 1.3.5 to 1.3.7.

and I never tried any other recipe until yesterday.
