Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 6 Private: No Submitted By: Eduard Bloch (thefirstone) Assigned to: Marko Macek (captnmark) Summary: place window on Xinarama screen next to cursor Initial Comment: Hello, I wish icewm would create new windows on the Xinerama screen next to the curent mouse pointer position rather then the screen with the last active window. Simply because there is no other way to reach the second screen. I need to create a window and then move it to the second screen manually. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Sam Weston (samweston) Date: 2009-05-11 17:25 Message: Was about to submit this feature request. It's the main thing that bugs me about ice. Opening firefox then having to un-maximise it and move it to the other screen. I've enabled manual placement but that's more of a workaroud. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Adam Pribyl (covexx) Date: 2006-10-05 13:34 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=607018 And how about to use ManualPlacement=1? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Thomas Holder (speleo3) Date: 2006-10-03 11:19 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1306887 my vote for this feature request, this would be very useful! I'm not quite sure how strong Eduard meant "next to cursor", of course it should not break SmartPlacement but just determine the desired xiscreen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350031&aid=1509795&group_id=31 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The NEW KODAK i700 Series Scanners deliver under ANY circumstances!
