Summary: New windows are placed (most of them) on wrong monitor in dual head config.

I have a notebook with external LCD monitor attached. Notebook panel and external LCD are configured with xrandr to dual head configuration. LCD is to be used as primary and panel is to be user as secondary, right-of LCD

xrandr --output VGA-0 --mode 1280x1024 --output LVDS --pos 1285x0

That works OK, but taskbar now is on panel, not on LCD. So I change IceWM preferences:

XineramaPrimaryScreen=1

After IceWM restart the taskbar is on LCD, so LCD is indeed primary.

If I create a window now it will be placed on notebook panel, not on LCD (not OK).
If I have a focused window on LCD or on panel and try to create a new one - it will be placed on the same screen where focused window is (probably OK)
If I run Firefox and run some dialog window (Edit->Preferences) - dialog window is created on the center of panel, not LCD even if Firefox is focused on LCD monitor (not OK)

Is there any way to force new windows to be created on screen which is destignated as primary in icewm preferences ?

Try also:

xrandr --output VGA-0 --primary

icewm setting XineramaPrimaryScreen should not be required -- it was for
older xrandr/xinerama support.

Look around line 1320 in wmmgr.cc. If I change 

int xiscreen = 0;

to

int xiscreen = xineramaPrimaryScreen;

This fixes initial placement of "normal" windows for me. New windows are
created on default xrandr screen unless other focused window override this.

Firefox windows are not fixed by this and I think that icewm has nothing
to do with that. Firefox seems to explicitly requesting it's dialog windows
to be placed on screen 0.
