No, it's perfectly fine.  The hyphen holds the place of a file path for
an icon (compare Frank's post), and simply means that there is no icon
specified.

Anthony, one thing you could confirm is that menu entries for programs
other than iceweasel are working (or not), and perhaps why your post
title says "for browsers".  It's not really the case that only browsers
are failing, is it?

Also, you might tell us what version of icewm you're running.
