icons & winoptions

hi everyone,

since gnome3 and unity, i decided it was time to come back to a real 
window manager. how to enable icons in the window title bar and taskbar, 
right now only few applications show the icon (thunderbird).

here's a screenshot:

do i have to put all the applications in winoptions?! that's simply too 
much works. nevertheless, i tried with 1 application and it's not working:

applications that do not have icons:
vinagre
chromium-browser
gnome-terminal
file-roller
...
