The main point is interest and awareness. IceWM is showing its capacity where KDE and GNOME fail. I was a fond of KDE and
often experimenting between GNOME and KDE to understand which one is better. Finally I found IceWM and since then I have

IceWM+idesk is a great combination. Though people see hope in JWM; the reason I think is slow
development or no development at all. We need side by side a good GUI configuration for IceWM.
Not asking for a qt based but just a gtk/gtk2 based lightweight tool. Users should get the easiness.
IceWM is very fast and highly configurable but if you need hours to find out its configuration, how much
comfortable do you feel ? I am still using IceWM since last couple of years that's why I am mentioning
all these points in hope we get more matured S/W

JWM supports transparent panel... so visual appeal is  good... rich icon sets..and some more
little titbits which still play a good role to make it attractive. We need more useful applet
for IceWM. So repeating Jason's voice.... we need more developers. IceWM exist in the earth
since long. Rather than reinventing the wheel, why don't we make the existing better ?
