Well maybe I haven't explained the problem clearly enough. If
I have two apps up and one is under the other, if I move the mouse
to the second app, that part which is showing, it comes to the foreground
automatically.....much like mouse tracking the menu. A second problem
which is of the same sort is that if for example gnome-screenshot is up, and
the mouse moves off that window, it disappears. It's still in the taskbar
but it's very annoying. If the mouse slips off the edge
it disappears. I am using the Debian-supplied version of IceWm and have
tried
many different themes...all seem to do the same thing so I suspect it may be
one of the preferences I have set in the prefoverride file ?

/It seems icewm.org is down and has been for a while.

Did you build icewm yourself?

I have

tried changing some but nothing I do seems to make any difference.

Can anyone help ?
