Personally, I'm on Slackware64 14.1. I know it's often considered as close to vanilla Linux as it gets (not counting Linux From Scratch). However, as an add-on, I also use Pkgsrc (from NetBSD). I used that to install Ratpoison, among other software. There were no Pkgsrc-specific patches (or any patches, for that matter) added to Ratpoison 1.4.8, anyway. If you need more details on my system, ask away. Here's my `uname -a`: Linux localhost 3.10.17 #2 SMP Fri Feb 14 16:45:28 CST 2014 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux Regards, AR -- Pub PGP key: http://andrearemondini.com/docs/andrearemondini_pubkey.pgp Fingerprint: E39C DB37 C647 E2CD 555B D82D 0339 EA68 5099 73BF
