Rick,

I've installed IE7, too.

There is IE FAQ here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/iefaq.mspx

About IE6 vs. IE7:
"Most of the options you used in Internet Explorer 6 are still there.
The Back and Forward buttons are smaller and have been moved next to
the Address Bar. The Windows flag icon in the upper-right corner of
Internet Explorer 6 has been removed to make room for the Toolbar
Search Box. There is also a new Favorites Center that contains your
favorite websites, RSS feeds, and browsing history. Make sure you
explore the new toolbar to see all your options including printing,
page view, settings, and more."

About hidden IE7 File Menu:
"To maximize website viewing, the File menu is hidden by default.
Most menu options can be accessed from the toolbar. To view the File
menu simply click on the ALT key."

About hta. My old hta applications (with your Mahalo bradah) works
fine with IE7.

Valery

using hyperlinks to open folders on the menu c:\blah "target =
_blank" that kind of thing. Where do I set the settings on ie 7 so I
can continue to do that I can't find it in the security settings
