Combobox troubles

Hello All! I created a non-editable combobox with embedded C++3.0 GUI builder. I can fill the combobox with SendDlgItemMessage(hDlg,IDC_MYCOMBOBOX,CB_ADDSTRING,0,(LPARAM)mystring); I can cycle though all options using the cursor buttons, but no pull down menu appears, so at the first view it looks as there was only one option.
