ANN: DQSD 3.1.8.0 Beta

Hi all,

I've taken over release management after Glenn Carr, so please be =
prepared
for minor disasters while I get used to the process.

A beta of the next version 3.1.8 is now available for download and
installation at [1].

New for this release is:
* versionCheck() in version.js now checks scripting engine version as =
well,
and requires 5.6 (Kim Gr=E4sman)
* Added httpinst command, which installs new searches straight from an =
URL
(Kim Gr=E4sman)
* Modified DQSDTools to be TCHAR-correct, i.e. it can be built with
UNICODE/_UNICODE defined (Kim Gr=E4sman)
* Added explicit statement to store query in the windows autocomplete =
cache

* Added startup commands (Neel Doshi)
* Added ability (as DEFAULT) to display graphic icon/logo in search bar,
which functions as a 'GO' button. (Shawn K. Hall)
* Added a SPAN element to provide DQSD-based changes internal to the =
search,
providing an alternate viewport. (Shawn K. Hall)
* version.js now checks DQSD version asynchronously so as to not lock up
explorer.exe (Kim Gr=E4sman)
* Added key-handlers for performing several google search-types in the =
style
of the Google Deskbar (Shawn K. Hall)

* added a couple 'button' style graphics (30x100) for promoting DQSD on
websites (Shawn K. Hall)
* added a logo-size graphic (dqsd.gif) for use with the new banner =
feature

* added several more bit-depth and size formats to the dqsd search.ico =
icon

Bugs supposedly fixed:
* Fixed a copy paste error in defer_tools.js (Kim Grasman)
* Fixed translate.js to work with the latest babel and freetranslation
search urls (Brent Beardsley)
* language overrides in preferences/localprefs are now honored (Kim =
Gr=E4sman)
* fixed us 2003 daylight savings start in holidays.us.xml (Brent =
Beardsley)
* Fixed "Delete deletes two characters at a time"-bug (#648656) by only
echoing keypresses if DQSD is docked (Kim Gr=E4sman)
* Fixed Win-S loop problems, and tentatively fixed Win-S support on =
multiple
monitor systems (Kim Gr=E4sman)
* Fixed DLL version check in version.js (now checks that DLL version is
3.1.6.0 instead of 3.1.5.0) (Kim Gr=E4sman)

There's a hoard of new searches, but please note that webpoll has been
removed, and jsexec changed its name into jsx.
