Digital Healthcare is a leading supplier of software in high volume
medical imaging and screening applications. We bring our products to the
worldwide healthcare market through our direct sales force, dealers, and
global partners, supported by a strong development and applications team
based in Cambridge, UK. We also have a North American sales and technical
support team based in Columbia, MD.

We are looking for two developers to join our Cambridge team, to work on
our Web Services and Smart Client applications. You will be joining us as
we ship V1.0 of our next-generation platform, and will be involved in the
definition and implementation of our V2.0 product, as well as the
development of end-user applications on our V1.0 toolset. There will be
opportunities to work on cutting-edge image processing and presentation
layer components, as well as highly scalable, highly available web
services and back-office technologies.

You will be familiar with C# and the .NET framework. You have some
experience with the caveats and pitfalls of Xml Web Services, preferably
including exposure to WSE 1.0/2.0, but you’re interested in working across
the whole smart-application stack, from the UI to the data layer. Keen to
work with a team of highly motivated, creative people, you are able to get
your point across in an architecture discussion, and then work to
facilitate the group’s goals and objectives. You’re a self-starter, with
good reporting and communication skills, and are always looking to learn
something new. You want technology to improve people’s lives, and can see
how to bridge the gap between a cool idea and practical benefit to the
customer.
