One of our clients in Austin has a new opening for a Technical Software
Implementation Engineer to join their Professional Services team.  This is a
full time opportunity and will require up to 50% travel.
They need someone who is great with the customer in deploying software
solutions and who is fluent in VB, VBS, XML, XSLT, SOAP for customization of
the software solutions to the client base.  Equally, this person has to hav
a solid background in Microsoft suites including OS-  (NT, 2000, etc) and
Web platforms such as .NET and IIS.  A strong understanding of the network
architecture is also desirable.

Responsibilities

As part of the Professional Services team, you will be responsible for
deploying our Application Resource Management Solution at various client
sites.  Will ensure the successful installation, integration, and deployment
of our products in customer environments while maintaining quality and
superior customer satisfaction. Deployments may require on-site development
in XSLT, XML, VB, and VBS.

Skill Requirements

*       4+ years professional experience as part of an enterprise software
solutions company. This should include 2+ years of professional
implementation/deployment experience.
*       Successful completion of software installation for multi-site
Fortune 500 (and similar) organizations, preferably as part of a
services/deployment team
*       Proven ability to successfully navigate and relate to varying levels
of functional and technical personnel at customer sites
*       Database Experience (SQL-Server)
*       Solid knowledge of Microsoft IIS (and .NET a big plus)
*       Solid knowledge of Microsoft server OS environments
*       Fluency in VBS, VB, XSLT, XML
*       Understanding of Network Architecture
*       Previous work experience with a commercial software product start-up
highly desirable
*       Knowledge of VMware or Connectix virtual server technology highly
desirable
*       Excellent written and verbal communications skills
*       Strong problem solving skills
*       Technical undergraduate degree
*       Ability to travel to client sites
