C# Winform Application Developer - Chicagoland area

Description:
This position is for a C# Application Developer for the SunGard Transaction
Network (STN), a global trading and order routing system for institutional
equity and fixed income securities.

As a member of the STN Team, the Application Developer will provide
programming support for our family of software. These products are
comprised of multi-tier applications that include a combination of Web-
based and GUI front-ends that interface with various custom mid-tier
applications and back-end database systems.

Approximately 70% of the Developer=92s time will be spent on new development=

work, with the remaining time spent on maintenance efforts.  Application
Developers are also very involved in analysis and design of system features.=


Required Skills:
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
* Minimum two years experience building highly-scalable commercial software
applications
* Good team player able to work in small highly focused, very driven groups
* Ability to work independently when required
* Ability to turn ideas and concepts into products

Technical Requirements:
* C#
* Visual Studio.NET
* Desktop Application Development (C# Winforms preferred, but experience
developing desktop applications in other OO languages such as C++, or Java
will be considered)
* WebServices
* SQL Server (ADO.NET, SQL, Stored procedures)

Pluses include:

* Exposure to usability and user-centered design principles
