Re: docgen / XP / scripting v5.6

Well, darn.  Looks like a crash in one of our modules.  Doesn't mean WSH or MSXML aren't responsible, but I was hoping for a smoking gun.

Are the two machines identical, otherwise?  Or is the old Win2k box you mentioned, previously?

I also worry about Everett droppings.  Any chance you can repro on a clean XP box?

I could investigate further, but realistically, I don't think this bug can be fixed/worked-around, unless/until Gen<X> goes open-source.  :-(

Its a real AV, here's the call stack dumped from VS.NET (ntsd showed
something similar, but not as pretty !)

I did have Everett Installed on the machine, but i've since
uninstalled that, just in case, made no difference [although it could
of left something behind]

it consistently crashes at the same point, it might be related to the
MSXML version, I'm running 4.0 SP1 on the box that crashes and
plain old 4.0 on the box that's ok.

I had as little else as possible running at the time.
