Based upon my experience using IDEA, I think that the best design would
allow users to adapt the layout to fit their circumstances.

At work I have a 19" Dell 4:3 and an Apple 23" 16:9. I have found that
the more space I have, the more productive I am. At home I have a 22"
16:9 LG.

The Dell is acceptable - it's an older monitor so it may just be showing
it's age. The LG is good. The Apple is superb.
