No prob. Don't know if it was sourceforge or my mailserver, but yours
didn't get thru till after I sent my last. 

FWIW I'm attaching the menu_bar_widget2.js and test page anyway. I
kludged the positioning problem by just multiplying length of label by
2: doubt that's ideal. 

Doesn't de-select previously opened menu when you move to another - but
I'll get my head round them sigs 'n slots sooner or later ;)
