Database creation

Using ATL7/WTL7

I'm looking at Project 2002 and I see that the project file
Can now be stored in a SQL database.

The connection to the database is ODBC, probably so that Oracle Can be
supported.

If you open a new project then do a save, you can choose to save It to
SQL server using ODBC.

I wonder what API are they likely to be using, is it ADO?

If the database structure is always going to be the same could I use SQL
statements and pass them using OLEDB?

I would appreciate some thoughts on the best way to handle this.
