Yes, but that's that will quickly degrade to doing all kinds of mostly unneccessary checks just to deal with all possibilities. What I want is template generated code that do exactly the right checks at the right times. No overhead! I know I'm a pedant! I'll go home and read Alexandrescu again, then write that lib. Im probably gonna go for raw oledb.
