Is it a ocx that you made yourself or is it a public ocx? Maybe he has more then one version of the ocx installed. Maybe it is a security problem. Is it on the same machine he has the problem? The same user that is logged on? Greetings, Yves Hanoulle -----Original Message----- From: Technical discussion of VBCOM [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Luiz Guilherme Freitas de Paula Sent: Wednesday, August 14, 2002 10:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [VBCOM] Strange problem with OCX Hi everyone, We have an application written in VB6 using visual components compiled into one OCX package. In our lab, the application works fine, but our customer is complaining that, sometimes, he's given the following error: "Failed to load control <mycontrol> from <myocx>. Your version of <myocx> may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application." We could not replicate the error on lab and we are sure that the version of the OCX in the customer is correct, because he's able to use the program correctly most of the time. Can anyone give us a clue?
