Thank you for your prompt response. I understand the concept of being a system admin. I am the admin for this PC and the only user. When right clicking on the install file or on the desktop icon I do not see any special options for an admin. I'm not sure I am capable of using your detailed instructions to make ECCO work under Windows 8.1. Do you have a time frame for updating the installer for brainless operation? Thanks.
